Rattla

Rattla is a minifigure in the 2012 Ninjago line. This snake minifigure has a dark blue face, red eyes, fangs, and is dressed in grey. He is a part of the Hypnobrai snake tribe. In Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu, he is seen talking toSkales during the construction of Lloyd's tree house. According to his character card, his dominant element is ice.


Rattla is a member of the Hybnobrai snake tribe in Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu. He is seen, to date, in the first twoNinjago premieres. He first appeared multiple times in the background of the battles with the ninjas in the first primereRise of the Snakes. In the second premiere, Home, he talks to Skales about his new control over Cole. After the ninjas take over the treehouse and destroy it, he sees the battle between Skales and Slithraa, the current general. He makes on one more appearance so far, saying "He used Fang-kwan-do!" at the end.

Samukai is a four-armed Ninjago Skeleton. According to the Ninjago Website, he is the King of the Underworld andskulkin general of fire, until Lord Garmadon arrived in the Underworld and defeated him in a duel, thus Garmadon becomes the new King and relegated Samukai into being a servant of his, though Samukai remains his title as general of the Skulkin army.

In the beginning of LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu, he and his army steal a map from Kai and Nya's shop that leads to the four weapons. The ninjas, Cole, Jay, Zane, andKai, later steal the map back. Samukai and his army face them after the ninjas retrieve the Scythe of Quakes, but retreat when they see the Earth Dragon. Later, he and his army ambush the ninjas in the Forest of Tranquility and escape with three of the four weapons to the Underworld. As Samukai approaches Lord Garmadon with the weapons, he fights and defeats Sensei Wu, taking the last weapon from him. However, instead of giving his master the weapons, he betrays Garmadon and takes them for himself. Ironically, he was destroyed by the power he swore he'd once contain. Garmadon said it was a vortex through space and time.

Nuckal

Nuckal is a Ninjago minifigure introduced in 2011 within three sets, 2173 Nuckal, 2504 Spinjitzu Dojo, and 2518 Nuckal's ATV. He is the Skulkin General of Lightning underSamukai's command.

           The childish and unintelligent General of Lightning, Nuckal serves under the command of Samukai alongside his companion General Kruncha (whom he often fights with) and commands the skeletal legions of Lightning. He made his first appearance in Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu where he was seen laying seige on Kai and Nya's village, and snuck off to find the map to the Golden Weapons with Kruncha. Later he assisted in the mining of for the Scythe of Quakes at the Caves of Despair and also captured Cole,Zane and Jay at the Fire Temple while Garmadon seized the Sword of Fire. Eventually, he and Kruncha traveled back to the Underworld and guarded passage to Lord Garmadon's fortress, where Nuckal performed "Ninja Searches" on all cargo entering the fort. They were both imprisoned, however when the ninja performed the "Tornado of Creation", which locked the remaining skeleton army into a ferris wheel-like prison, the two generals amongst them. In the New Masters of spinjitzu minisode, the two somehow escape their predicament and use the skull truck to travel to the Monastery and stole the Golden Weapons from the ninja, but the plan backfired and the weapons were returned shortly. The generals soon joined up with Wyplash and a few other remaining skeletons, and banded together and traveled to the Fire Temple. At the temple, they discovered a hidden entrance to the Underworld, where they attempted to release more skeletons and gain vengeance for Samukai. However, Kai and Nya apprehended their plan and caused the skeletons to disband, destroying any remainders of the army. In Never Trust a Snake, Nuckal and Kruncha appeared as "substitute teachers" for a boarding school for bad boys, but were tied and gagged by Lloyd Garmadon and Pythor P. Chumsworth when they invaded the school. They were freed by Cole, but made them promise to leave Ninjago. He appears with his friend Kruncha in the episode Tick Tock playing rock, paper, scissors.

Kai

Kai is a red ninja minifigure released in 2011 as part of the Ninjago theme his father was the blacksmith that Sensei Wu gave the map to the golden weopons to.

Kai is the Ninja of Fire and brother of Nya. He was a blacksmith before apprenticing himself to Sensei Wu. Kai is fiery in both fighting style and temper and a very independent character. However, he eventually gained control over his impulsive tendencies.

In Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu; Kai and his sister, Nya, were working in their family blacksmith shop, Four Weapons. They were approached by Sensei Wu who showed disdain for the weapons they made, saying they are useless in the art of stealth. He also says there are only tools/weapons for a samurai, but nothing for a ninja. Kai drove him off, who in turn disappeared when Kai turned his back. Moments later, a dark cloud appeared over the village, with local farmers being the first to notice. On the edge of the hill, a large vehicle (the Skull Truck) appeared along with many motorcycles, all with skullkin on board, notably General Nuckal, Kruncha, and Samukai. The farmers attacked the skullkins, only to run at the last second. Then, Kai, wearing hand-crafted samurai armour, helmet, and sword, engaged in battle, with Nya joining in. Kai was nearly killed by Samukai, only to be saved bySensei Wu, who reappeared just in time. He is not able to save Nya, as she is kidnapped under the orders of Lord Garmadon. Sensei tells Kai in the story of Ninjago.

After telling Kai the story, he told him Kai's father had a map made by Sensei Wu to hide the Golden Weapons, also, Garmadon had struck a deal with Samukai, and that Wu was the younger brother. Kai at first refuses to get involved, until realizing he wouldn't stand a chance. He trained in Wu's monastery, and after completing his training, he awaits a final test, but is told he has already learned spinjitzu. Later that night, Kai was ambushed by three ninjas, and the ensuing battle causes him to be thrown out onto the training grounds. Kai activated the training course and the obstacles disarmed the attackers. Moments later, Sensei Wu stops the fight, revealing that the three are his other students. He used spinjitzu to transform their black ninja outfits into colored ninja outfits. The four are introduced to each other: Cole, the black ninja of earth, who is solid as rock; Jay, the blue ninja of lightning; Zane, the white ninja of ice and seer with a sixth sense; and Kai, the red ninja of fire. Introductions were cut short as Wu announced the search for the golden weapons has begun.

The first destination was the Caves of Despair, where Kai raced off in hopes of finding Nya. Instead, he nearly was caught by the skullkin Krazi who was about to raise the alarm, had it not been for the other three messing up the skeleton and shoving its Bone weapon into its mouth. As the four capture the weapon, they were attacked bySamukai and a whole legion of skullkins. Jay noticed the enemies to be just like the training course, and after going through the motions Wu taught him, he summoned a tornado of energy corresponding with his element. In other words: he performed spinjitzu, followed by the others. Samukai and his legion retreated, as they saw theEarth Dragon guardian of the Scythe appear behind the ninja. In desperation, Kai used the scythe, despite Wu's instruction not to use the weapon's power, as no mortal could handle it. A rift appeared in the cave ceiling, and the ninjas managed to escape. Sensei Wu becomes angry at Kai for using the weapon's power.

As the ninjas were headed to the shurikens of ice, Wu taught them the most powerful move in spinjitzu: the Tornado of Creation. The boat arrived, crashing into the island, and the ninjas entered the frozen plains. The three yet again escape another dragon, as Zane was frozen upon contact with the weapons, and the others used him as a snowboard, with the weapons being in their possession, they continue on. At the Floating Ruins, they climbed a giant chain to the nunchucks of lightning, jumping down to escape the lightning dragon. The four use special inventions made by [[Jay,backpacks that spawn wings. The ninjas are at such a high altitude that they were able to fly to all the way to the Forest of Tranquility, the location of the sword of fire. After everyone fell asleep, Kai was awoken by none other than Nya. She ran away, and Kai chased her through the forest, eventually entering the fire temple. Nya was then revealed to be an illusion made by Lord Garmadon in a shadow form. He exploits the fact that Kai had forgotten his sword, and that the real Nya is hanging from chains above the lava. Garmadon tells him the only way to save Nya is to pull the Sword of Fire out of it’s rock. Kai obtains the sword, cuts Nya free, and was then confronted by solid shadows. Wu arrived and attempted to take them out, but the dragon appeared. Sensei decides to make a sacrifice and jumps on a rock that was headed down a lava fall so he may bring the sword to the Underworld. Kai tried to ask Sensei if there is another way and blamed himself for going after Nya alone, but its too late. The other ninjas then traveled to [2507 Fire Temple|[the Fire temple]] where Zane sensed the Sword of Fire was. Kai and Nya then appeared with the fire dragon. After the others get the dragons of their respective elements, they go to the underworld where they then battle the skullkin army and giant spiders using the Tornado of Creation. The Kai and the other ninjas then entered Garmadon's throne room where they witnessed Samukaidefeat Wu. Samukai then grabbed the Sword of Fire. He planned to destroy Garmadon with the weapons but soon disintegrates from all of the power streaming into him from all the Golden Weapons and in his place is a portal which Garmadon goes through to escape the underworld. When he is gone, Sensei Wu informed that he will return one day. The four ninjas then return to Kai and Nya's village where they are welcomed by Nya and the villagers as heroes.

In the Spinjitzu Smash! online game, Kai was a playable character. He traveled to reclaim the sword of fire from the Skullkins with guidance from Sensei Wu and .

In the Spinjitzu Smash! DX sequel, Kai and the other ninjas traveled to the underworld to rescue Nya and the golden weapons from the Skullkins and giant spiders. While in the underworld, Kai reconnected with his late father, whose spirit helped guide them.

In the new Ninjago mini-movie, Rise of the Snakes, he and the other ninjas go to investigate the report of lord Garmmadon's return. They go to Jamonicia village to see Lloyd Garmadon , his son, terrorizing the people. After leaving him to the villagers, he finds the scroll decrypting the coming of the Green Ninja (Ninjago). He asks himself if he will become him. After beating Jay, he faces off against Cole, during which his sword nearly burns down the entire monastery. Afterwords, Sensei Wu claims the Serpentine are back, and upon return to Jamonicia village, encounter the Hypnobrai tribe. Kai's appearance in this battle is limited, only to show that his Spinjitzu is too unstable to control. After the battle, he asks Sensei Wu to teach them the secrets of the golden weapons.

In the second premiere of Rise of the Snakes, Home, he and the other ninjas make fun of Zane for his odd behavior, Kai's case is when Zane left a mysterious note that he "consumed the last of the deli meat. Cheese?". When they follow Zane to the tree house of Lloyd Garmadon, he is the first to cut the ropes. After Cole is pitched against the others as a distraction, he refuses to use his sword in fear of destroying the entire place. After Sensei Wu un-trances him, they return to see the monastery in flames. Kai is the first to turn on Zane. After Zane flies off, he and the other ninjas take shelter and see Zane approaching them. After he explains that he flew off to see the falcon, he leads them to their new home, the ship Destiny's Bounty.

Snappa

Snappa is a Snake minifigure from the Ninjago theme to be released in 2012. He is white and red coloured, and wears a snake-tooth necklace. His name is a pun on "Snapper". He is a scout for the Fangpyre snake tribe. According to his character card, his dominant element is fire.


This Fangpyre scout is white and red coloured. He also carries a snake fang necklace. He has a new headpeice and a part that goes on top of his head to look like a part of a snake head.


Snappa is a scout for the Fangpyre Serpentine Tribe. He, along with Fang-Suei bit vehicles in Ed and Edna's Junkyard. The next day, he was in the ninja ambush/battle at the junkyard. He was at first seen with Fang-Suei when the snakes revealed themselves, and when the ninjas used spinjitzu.

Jay's Storm Fighter

9442 Jay's Storm Fighter is a Ninjago set released in lateNovember 2011 . It includes a large blue jet, a small shrine with the Fangpyre Snake Staff, Jay ZX and Snappa. It also transforms by folding out its wings. A new brick is the light round stud which is flat, there is no knob on top.and the only set with no zx ninja shoulder pads even if there is a ZX ninja. Jay Walker is the blue ninja of lightning minifigure released in 2011 with the Ninjago Theme. He also appeared in the Ninjago movie that premiered exclusively on Cartoon Network. He was the first of the ninjas to use spinjitzu, and he has a crush on Kai's sister, Nya. In the 2012 season it is revealed that his parents are named Ed and Edna Walker.

In LEGO Ninjago: The Movie, Jay was shown to be discovered by Sensei Wu while testing one of his inventions. He was then brought to Wu's monastery to train in the ways of Spinjitzu. He trained alongside fellow students Zane and Cole. The three later attacked another that they found in the monastary. After a fight started between the four, Wu appeared to break it up and introduced the newcomer as his fourth student, Kai. Wu then announced to the four ninjas that the search for the Four Golden Weapons was to begin.

At the Caves of Despair, location of the Scythe of Quakes, after the scythe was recovered by the ninjas, they are attacked by an army of Skullkins led by Samukai, the king of the underworld. Jay notices the enemies to be just like the training course, and after going through the motions Wu taught him, he summoned a tornado of lightning corresponding with his element. In other words: he performed spinjitzu, followed by the others. Samukai and his legion retreat, as a dragon protecting the Scythe appeared behind the ninja. Samukai and the army of Skullkins then arrive, steal three of the golden weapons, and tie the remaining members of the group to a tree. Jay grabs General Nuckal's sword and cuts the rope while the skullkins are not looking. The three ninjas then try to chase the Skullkins in their vehicles, but they escape to the Underworld. The ninjas then go to the Fire Templewhere Zane senses the location of the Sword of Fire. Kai and Nya then appear with the fire dragon. Jay then learned of the sacrifice that Wu made. The ninjas then retrieve their elemental dragons and travel to the underworld. While in the underworld, Jay battled the skullkins (once again) and giant spiders. He then witnessed Samukai defeat Sensei Wu and take the sword of fire from him. Samukai was then seemingly destroyed, but the combined power of the weapons allowed Lord Garmadon, Wu's evil brother, to escape from the underworld. Jay then travelled to Kai and Nya's village where he and the other ninjas were welcomed as heroes. Jay had a small moment with Nya,she tells him blue is her favorite color, and Jay replies YES!!!!!!! she also tells Kai and Jay she's happy they are back. Then they hit their golden weapons together creating an explosion.

Jay also appeared in most of the Ninjago Mini-Movies. In the first, he gave Nya a ride to the Blacksmith to pick up a few things, as she is moving in with Kai and the Ninja at the Monastery. He also took part in the dragon race between the other three in the second. He was briefly heard and seen in the third when Kruncha and Knuckal tried to steal the Golden Weapons, and was also seen flying on his dragon in the 6th.

In the Spinjitzu Smash online game, Jay appeared in three of the four campaigns. In his respective campaign, he and Nya built a balloon and journeyed to the Sky Temple to retrieve the Nunchucks of Lightning. In Zane's campaign, Jay accompanied the ninja of ice on his quest to retrieve the Shurikens of Ice. In Cole's campaign, Jay appeared as an illusion that led Cole to the cave where Carridi's daughter and the Scythe of Quakes were being held by Skullkins. Jay was only playable in his respective campaign.

Also, in the game Smash Creations, Jay says that Nya is a great kisser when Sensei Wu tells Kai that she is not just an ordinary village girl, thus it can be assumed Jay has kissed Nya before, though he could just be joking with Kai. When Kai leads the charge before the last battle, Jay says he fights for love, further implying his feelings for Nya.

In the new Ninjago mini-movie, Rise of the Snakes, his opptomism reaches its' peak with the battle of the Serpentine. After the ninjas go to Jamonicia village to investigate the report of Lord Garmadon's return, the ninjas find Lloyd Garmadon terrorizing the villagers. After leaving him to the villagers, they find the scroll about the Green Ninja (Ninjago), he is the most intruged. During the contest to decifer who it was, he lost first to Kai. After returning to Jamonicia village to investigate the Serpentine's return, he is relieved to see Nya has returned safely. Jay makes little apperance in this battle, only to say they are out of shape during the battle.

In the second premire, Home, he is annoyed by Zane when he laughs at a movie when he and Nya are crying. He and the other ninjas train to unlock the golden weapons when Zane tells them to follow him. After arriving at Lloyd Garammadon's treehouse, he finds it very cool and interesting. Nevertheless, he follows the ninjas to destroy it. When Cole in hypnotized, he tries to schock him with lightning, to no avail. When Sensei Wu un-trances him, he is devestated that the Serpentine destroyed all their video games. After they discover Destiny's Bounty, he is the first to comment on the food. He appeared to have a conection to the Green Ninja, due to his apperance with the nunchucks of lightning.
